The Commons — Langley, Wa.

January 7, 2011 — Firday Night Live in the throne of charms, Downtown Langley, was a Bowl of Cherries

for the Jazzy Fairy in me…

I sat, feathered and frilly ‘neath the wee track light. It was grand like the sun. It was cute. And saucy, what with the violet sheers all around.

The set was a sweet, dainty box of fine flavor. Simple, dark like a wizard’s closet, kissed with candles and a memory of Christmas.

Somebody said, “YOU Shine.”

Nobody said goodnight early.

Many bodies laughed a bunch.

The gal behind the counter gave a good hug. She’d been there since 2.

I signed and sold a loving sum.

Langley is good to me.

I am good, in turn.

We live

We love

We learn.

The Little Red Studio — Seattle, WA.

December 11, 2010 — This was an extraordinary event, titled “An Alchemy of Sirens”, held in the heart of downtown Seattle at the intimate, sexy venue The Little Red Studio, produced by Kenny Telesco, in conjunction with the wildly unusual, electric poetry band, Luminol. The crowd was the very best yet, packed full of attentive listeners and wild clappers, lounging on red velvet-lined sofas and plush cushions amidst candlelight. Piper’s set was a baby grand piano, adorned with flaming red firelight and a fancy decanter of fine wine. A divine opportunity to sport her snazzy fishnets and glossy high heels. Look for videos on YouTube. This show was phenomenal.
